Week 11 - Made it to the Netherlands!!!

Dear Parents:

Elder Jardine made it to the Netherlands

Your missionary has arrived safe and well in the Belgium Netherlands. We are extremely impressed with his attitude, preparation and diligence. He starts work today, April 15, 2015, in his new area of Zoetermeer with one of our veteran missionaries, Elder Thomas, as trainer. He will write to you on Monday and I’m sure will fill you in on everything.

He is truly in for the most unique experience of his life. We are so pleased to have him join us here in the Belgium Netherlands after a visa delay. Thank you for your faith, commitment to the gospel, and sacrifice to send your son to serve the Lord. Many blessings are awaiting your missionary, you and your family through his missionary service. We pray for you while he is away, and he is in our prayers at all times.

Of interest, you are welcome to keep up-to-date with the mission at: http//belgiumnetherlandsmission.blogspot.com

Again, thank you for your son.

Veel liefs,
President and Sister Robinson

A note from his wonderful ward in California

Dearest Sister Jardine

I just wanted to send you a little note to tell you what a wonderful son you have and that he is just doing so well out here on his mission. We are really sad that his papers and passport have come through so quickly. My husband is the ward mission leader and so we have a lot of time with these guys - greatest calling ever. I love having watched him from his first day out of the MTC with eyes as big as dinner plates through to his first transfer - feeling comfortable and confident - and yet nervous about this huge change ahead. We are very excited for him and hope to hear how it goes.

He has a lot of love and cares very deeply. He is obedient and willing to work hard. We will miss him.

Have a wonderful day

Kristin McBride
